As you know, we love trying new things and getting you involved in trying new skills.

As part of our scratch nights, we let artists develop new shows. One of the current projects we are working on is a CIRCUS GAMESHOW. Its going to be a light hearted, party show for all the family: Think Generation Game meets Gladiators. It will be lots of adventure, fun and glitter.

What does that have to do with me?

Well… We need contestants!!! We can’t do it alone and we need adventurous, exciting people to join us on this journey. We want this show to be a fun gateway to trying new circus skills (whilst also being a bit silly) so we’ll be supporting all contestants with free workshops.

Who are we looking for?

  • Fun, adventurous people who want to have a laugh with friends and family. All contestants will compete in teams of two
  • We really want to hear from pairs of people: fathers and daughters, newlyweds, best friends.
  • There is NO age limit. We will tailor the games to suit the contestants. We’d love to see 5 year old children compete against their 86 year old grandmas
  • No previous circus experience is needed. During the workshop we will show you the games and teach you the skills to find out what you’re best at

What do I need to do?

  • Complete the application form attached to this email
  • Attend a workshop and show on Saturday 28th July OR Saturday 11th The workshop will run from 2:30 to 4:30 and the show will start at 7:30 and be finished by 10pm.
  • There is no cost to participation…. But prizes to be won

The concept is being developed by Aaron Twitchen who is always looking for ways to blend his circus and comedy skills in entertaining formats. You may have seen previews for his show Curtain Twitchen in the space last year, which was the first show of its kind to mix stand up and aerial silks, which debuted at Edinburgh Fringe 2018. He’ll be hosting and running the workshops; guiding our players through the games and helping them get the most out of the experience.

Any questions, you can ask Aaron on his email:

We really hope you can get involved. Big love. The CircusMASH Family.
