Sam Goodburn

Dumbstruck, a premiere by multi-award-winning performer Sam Goodburn, tells the story of an endearing young man taking his first steps into adulthood. This exciting lo-fi circus show features offbeat comedy, world class unicycling, juggling, knife throwing and impeccable feats with sliced bread. Directed by renowned clown Fraser Hooper, Dumbstruck showcases the amazing skills of Underbelly’s Circus Maximus Winner – a competition held at the Udderbelly Festival on London’s South Bank to find an exciting new circus performer. Dumbstruck takes place ‘the morning after’ as Sam creeps around a girl’s apartment, collecting his discarded clothes from the night before; as he wonders what on earth he’s doing, he learns that his introverted nerdiness can actually be joyous, empowering and just a little bit charming.

Aaron Twitchen

In his fourth Edinburgh Show, Aaron finally blends his physical circus skills with comedy creating the first aerial silk-stand up comedy hour. Keeping with his usual relatable humour about friendship, love and wine, the show seemlessly blends hilarious (or you might say HIGH-larious) stand up observations with jaw-dropping stunts on the aerial silks.  An innovative new approach: intimate circus, led by stand up comedy to a pop power soundtrack. Aerial-circus, stand-up fusion show. Mixing relatable stories of friendship, love and wine with jaw-dropping stunts on the aerial silks into a gossipy cabaret explosion, Aaron Twitchen takes comedy to highs you’ve never seen before… literally.
